City of Howell

The City of Howell is the County seat of Livingston County. It is a dynamic, full-service city of nearly 9,500 residents. The heart of the city is the historic downtown central business district, complete with the historic courthouse. The city was the 2018 Great American Main Street Award winner for economic development and historical preservation. The city hosts many events and is a safe, family friendly community with a fantastic school system and activities for all.
